Salo – filled with events

The popular evening markets on summer Thursdays from June to August bring Finnish music performances, traders, pancake cafés, second-hand shops and a children’s flea market to the Salo marketplace.

The versatile selection of summer theatres, concerts, exhibitions and themed events attract those who yearn for culture. In the city centre shoppers can enjoy individual and knowledgeable service in many boutiques and smaller shops.

Pumpkin Weeks in October

The Pumpkin Weeks organised in October create an autumnal atmosphere and great experiences in Salo. The pumpkin park at the Rannikko garden in Halikko is at the centre of the Pumpkin Week activities, inviting visitors to admire thousands of jack-o’-lanterns and tasty pumpkin-based treats. The restaurants and cafés at the areas also serve pumpkin delicacies during the week.

👉Osuuskunta Suomen Asuntomessujen hallitus on hyväksynyt Salon Asuntomessuhakemuksen ja arvioi Salon olevan erinomainen messukaupunki toteuttaa uudenlaiset monipaikkaiset Asuntomessut.
👉Päätökset käynnistävät neuvotteluvaiheen, jonka tavoite on varmistaa Asuntomessujen onnistumisen edellytykset sekä arvioida toteuttamisen sisältöä ja yhteistyömallia yksityiskohtaisemmin.
